Community Connection -
California Coastal Cleanup Day

As a volunteer organization,
the Association of Legal Administrators
encourages its members to give back to the community.

Join the three ALA Bay Area Chapters
in this joint Community Connection Event!

Pacifica Beach Coalition - Coastal Cleanup Day
at Mavericks Beach, Half Moon Bay, California

Every year, on the third Saturday in September, people join together at sites all over California to take part in the State's largest volunteer event, California Coastal Cleanup Day.

Since 2005, over 36,000 pounds of debris have been removed from the San Mateo County coastline by more than 9,500 volunteers every year.

The event is part of the International Coastal Cleanup, organized by the Ocean Conservancy, which is the one of the largest volunteer events on the planet! The Pacifica Beach Coalition has been hosting this annual statewide cleanup since 1998.
