This seminar is designed to help attendees rethink, reshape, and redesign their approach to work.

Attendees will learn how to balance traditional methods of time management with the needs of the 21st century work environment to become more effective leaders within your organization.

You will learn how to implement the techniques in the session to achieve greater work/life balance without seeing declines in productivity.

After the session, you will be able to:

  • Redefine the concept of work to meet our current challenges
  • Learn to assess gaps in the current organizational culture to drive meaningful change
  • Identify strategies to eliminate time stealers and time wasters
  • Create greater balance to achieve desired results

Speaker: 

Roger Meertins is the Office Administrator for Wilson Elser in Las Vegas, NV. He is responsible for the ongoing administration of the office, overseeing its financial, human resources and facilities management activities. Roger also serves as a board member of the Las Vegas ALA chapter.

Prior to becoming an Office Administrator, Roger was a National Account Manager for Williams Lea, where he managed large-scale, cross-functional, legal client engagements for several Am Law 100 firms across the U.S. His professional experience also includes consulting, training, and project & operations management for companies such as Aon/Hewitt, Ruth's Chris Steak House, and Aramark.

 

Roger has been a coach and facilitator since 1998. He received his bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Florida and his SPHR certification from HRCI.
